HISTORY
The FIM JuniorGP is a motorcycle competition that takes place in Europe.
The first championship organized under the name of “European” dates back to 1924 and at the time represented the highest possible level of competition for motorcycles, since there was still no world competition.
The first edition of the World Championship was organized in 1949, therefore the last championship organized with European validity was that of the previous year.
It was only in 1981 that the European Speed Championship returned to being part of motorcycle competitions again, organized with specific races but with the same classes of the World Championship.

In 1998, Dorna began organizing the European Speed Championship together with the Spanish Motorcycle Federation, with the aim of allowing the youngest motorcycling talents worldwide to develop their skills and potential, in the best possible setting.
In 2014, the championship officially became the FIM CEV Repsol and, during the FIM general assembly of the same year, it was established that starting from 2015 the FIM CEV Repsol Moto3 category would become the Moto3 Junior World Championship.
Furthermore, in agreement with the FIM Europe and starting from the same date, Moto2 and Superbike categories became a new European Championship.
A new category, unprecedented in its championship, was introduced in 2017: the European Talent Cup, which sees younger riders compete on identical bikes at a reduced cost, with the intent of developing their potential before they make the big step towards the Moto3 Junior World Championship.
This introduction allows the FIM CEV Repsol to further break down national barriers and to improve quality in the research for young riders of all nationalities, ready to make themselves known in the context of the championship itself.
In 2022, the championship officially become the FIM JuniorGP World Championship.

FOR SPONSORS
FIM JuniorGP was created 40 years ago by RFME (Real Federación Motociclista Española).
Thanks to the collaboration between RFME and Dorna Sports, FIM JuniorGP represents an unbeatable picture, combining the great promises of the international scene with the direct gateway to the world of MotoGP.
The international impact of this prestigious championship is reflected in the interest shown by Sky (Italy), Eurosport (France, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands) and BT Sport (United Kingdom), which provide coverage of the FIM JuniorGP with broadcasts for all events.
In 2018, about 20,000 spectators participated in the FIM JuniorGP competitions.
The paddock is open to the public during free practices and races.

FOR PARTNERS
The offer for the companies of the championship combines the more traditional sponsorship formulas (main sponsor, official sponsor and official supplier) with direct and measurable commercial opportunities, full of services and packages that can be completely customized, based on the different budgets and objectives.
From a socio-demographic point of view, the target is extremely extended, heterogeneous and transversal, but certainly uniform within it due to the values commonly attributed to it: according to 90% of the sample interviewed, motorcycling means entertainment, freedom, involvement and sharing.

FOR COMPANIES
By making a limited investment, companies will be able to link their image to that of the FIM JuniorGP: they’ll appear with their own brand in the promotional-advertising communication and will use the championship logo and the wording “Technical Partner”.
They’ll have the opportunity to present their products and to carry out assistance activities for members of the championships, as well as having access passes for their clients.
