HISTORY
The World Rally Championship, abbreviated WRC, was officially established in 1973, but the sport of rally racing took off long before that, at the start of the 20th century.
In fact, the Monte-Carlo Rally is credited for creating the first rally event back in 1911.
After two world wars interrupted the sport, the 1950s brought about the first golden era of rally racing, establishing many rally routes that are still used today: some of the most brutally tough and unforgiving terrain on the planet.
There are separate championships for drivers, co-drivers, manufacturers and teams.
The championship is spread across 12 rallies, covering four continents and 13 countries.
Man and machine must master everything from snow-packed forest tracks in intense cold, to rock-strewn mountain passes in blistering heat.
The WRC features two support championships, the World Rally Championship 2 (WRC2) and the World Rally Championship 3 (WRC3) which are contested on the same events and stages as the WRC, but with different regulations.

The one-day VIP option gives fans a taste of hospitality while witnessing incredible WRC action.
You will meet a rallying expert at the meeting point and be taken by VIP shuttle to see two special stages throughout the day.
Lunch at a local restaurant plus a private visit and dinner with an official WRC team and a tour of the service park (time permitting) are all included in the package before you are transported to the pick-up point to end the day.
The two-day rally stay package enables fans to indulge in a full programme of rallying action with the benefits of VIP shuttle transfers to at least four stages, a rally expert on hand to guide, a stay in a five-star hotel, and dinner at an official WRC team hospitality.

FAN Experience
A perfect introduction to rallying, the one-day package gives fans a sensational introduction to the sport.
Fans will visit at least two special stages with bus transfers included and the guidance of a rallying expert who will be on hand to provide insight and answer any questions you may have.
You will be picked up from the meeting point and taken to the stages, with lunch at a local restaurant included as well as a welcome gift, water, and snacks, before being dropped off at the pick-up location.
